“Skeleton structure made from coloured dyed bamboo and luxurious hand craft. It is a very beautiful Japanese Umbrella combined with the colour of Washi.
There are two different hinges which can be used for adjusting accordingly to the strength of the wind and rain, allowing the capability of diverse weather ranges. On the handle, natural wisteria is winded. The ferrule (tip of umbrella that touches the ground) has beautiful out look with usage of brass.
When distinguishing colour patterns, it is separated into two different categories; one is called “Jan-no-Me” meaning, “eye of a snake”(Bull’s eye design). Another category is plain.

It is a necessary item that matches with Kimono, is perfect for ceremonies, formal parties and any other special occasions. Haeda is popular for gifts to valuable individuals and is highly recommended for those who uses Wagasa quite often. Please enjoy experiencing unique beauty of Kyoto’s elegant traditional artifacts.
